Don’t become another statistic!
Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over is a campaign founded by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. According to the NHTSA, drunk driving is a deadly epidemic that takes the lives of more than 10,000 people each year. This is especially relevant as we head into Labor Day weekend. During the Labor Day holidays from 2010-2014, over 750 died in drunk driving crashes. This year, the campaign runs from August 19-September 5. E.E. Ward and the Grove City Police department teamed up to spread awareness of the campaign and epidemic we face.
Remember folks, be safe! If you would like to get involved, you can visit http://www.nhtsa.gov/drivesober/get-involved/ and take the drunk driving pledge.
