On Saturday, E. E. Ward Moving & Storage took part in ‘the happiest 5K on the planet!’ Dominique Rieghard, wife of E. E. Ward owner Brian Brooks, led a group of four energetic girls in their first 5k race.
The Color Run was established in 2011 to bring together the community. You will not see any timers at the race because the race is about having fun, not competing. The only rule of the race is to wear white and be splattered with as many colors as possible. The Color Run is currently on the Shine tour across the world.
Dominique and the girls had some unexpected support during their run! The race path led right past the iconic Le Vegue Tower, where several E. E. Ward movers just happened to be performing an office relocation. The group stopped to take a picture with the E. E. Ward and North American moving truck before continuing on with their race.
The Color Run works with the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Ohio. The Ronald McDonald House strives to provide families with sick children a ‘home-away-from-home.” For more information on the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Ohio, please click here.
