Plan ahead: You would be amazed at the difference a little forethought can make when it comes to packing your storage container! You can take advantage of the space by planning where all your things will go and how it will be organized. Keep large items separated from the smaller and the fragile items.

Leave a walkway: This is important, especially if you are using the container as a place to store your items during a home project. You will likely need to access the things in the unit and without a walkway, it will be a pain to get to them

Label everything: Be sure to label and itemize all of your boxes that are going in the storage container. This will save you the headache of having to open and look through random boxes when you are looking for a specific item.

Fill the boxes up: Keep in mind when you are packing your boxes that if there is empty space at the top of the box; it gives room for a potential collapse. Filling the boxes to the top will make them sturdier for stacking.
