135 years ago E.E. Ward Moving & Storage was founded on the principles of giving back and serving the community. Today, E.E. Ward still lives by those values and works to make a difference in the lives of those in Central Ohio.
On June 23rd, 2016 E.E. Ward was recognized for their community service to Central Ohio by being awarded the Corporate Caring “Human Services Award” in the small company category.

As the official movers for Childhood League Center, a nonprofit that aims to serve children with special needs, E.E. Ward can provide basic furniture delivery to those in need.
One of the biggest service efforts made by the company was their own charity event, Laps for Lunches, which fights food insecurity in Central Ohio. Last year, which was the inaugural year for the charity event, E.E. Ward raised over enough money to provide 2,005 lunches.
E.E. Ward partners with the YWCA Family Center, Eldon & Elsie Ward Family YMCA, and the St. Philip Food Pantry to host the event and give participants the opportunity to race go karts, meet a NASCAR driver, and see a Richard Petty Motorsports race car!
“In 1881 John T. Ward started E.E. Ward Transfer with the phrase ‘Let Ward Do It’. Today it is important that when it comes to community service and helping those in need, we ‘Let Ward Do It’,” says president and owner, Brian Brooks. “We strive to do our part in serving our community.”
