It’s business as usual here in the office. Many of the staff are returning with wonderful stories of family traditions and presents. What impressed me, the most, however, was a brief discussion with a couple of our E.E. Ward drivers who used Christmas as a time to volunteer in the community by participating in food and clothing drives. They did it out of pure holiday and community spirit. This got me thinking. You don’t have to be a truck driver to get involved in your local food drives (I hope you enjoy this play on words as much as I did). Moreover, wouldn’t it be nice if we all could fit more of the giving spirit into the rest of the year? That’s why it is nice to be a part of a company that collectively strives to be a responsible community advocate. Looking back at the year, E.E. Ward has been a part of a number of community-wide events and fundraisers that work all year around to benefit others.
