On October 17th Brian Brooks, president and co-owner of E.E. Ward, made his way up to the Cleveland State University Supplier Diversity Vendor Xchange. The event was an opportunity to meet with CSU staff and faculty to share the professional relocation services that E.E. Ward provides.
The event served not only as a learning experience, but also one for entertainment. Visitors were able to enjoy food, prizes, and listen to music while communicating with business owners from all walks of life.
Part of their Encouraging Diversity, Growth and Equity (EDGE) initiative, CSU has made a policy to purchase 10% of their goods and services from minority-owned businesses. Being recognized as the longest continuously-operating Black-owned company in the U.S, E.E. Ward recognizes that programs like these can help many companies continue to grow and prosper under a diverse world of business.
E.E. Ward looks forward to future events with the CSU team… Go Vikings!
