#TipTuesday – Spring Cleaning Tips Part 5
Welcome back to E.E. Ward’s Spring Cleaning Tip series! If you missed last weeks post, check it out here. Spring is the perfect time to throw open the windows and let some fresh air into your home! Today we will focus on getting your windows cleaned and ready to be open this spring. Here are some tips to getting the dust off those windows and getting them prepped for spring:
- Go Natural – To clean your windows, you could go out and buy a window cleaning solution, but there is a simple and natural alternative you can make from things you already have at home! Simply create a mixture of equal parts white vinegar and water in a spray bottle and it will clean your window just as well as a store bought cleaner.
- Don’t forget the outside – While it’s critical to clean the inside of the windows that face the inside of your home, for best results and a complete clean, remember to also clean the outside of your windows as they will collect the most dirt and grime on this side.
- Clean on a cloudy day – Make sure to clean your windows on a day with low sun, if it’s too sunny while you’re wiping the windows down, the window cleaner could dry too fast and cause visible streaks on the window.
