Sponsoring Nationwide Children’s Hospital: Before, Now, and Then

#ThrowbackThursday as we continue on with our second day of the series Sponsoring Nationwide Children’s Hospital: Before, Now, and Then

Now:

One of our own, Sydney-our intern here at EE Ward, fancies herself a half marathon runner. Though she only has two under her belt, she has high hopes for the future when she can run many more races in new and exciting cities across the US maybe even completing a full marathon.

All throughout high school, Sydney ran varsity cross country and track. She ran her first half in October of 2014 when she ran The Nationwide Children’s Half Marathon in Columbus her first year at Ohio State. She followed it by signing up the following fall for a half in Lewiston, New York traveling over the Niagara Falls River.

Overall, she finds the Columbus Half was for a great cause where she was surrounded by thousands of experienced or just fun loving runners. She is volunteering this year for the race and is excited to see what the donations from EE Ward can do for the people running this race and the patients they are sponsoring.
