E.E. Ward Teams with Experience Columbus in Tourism Program
Not only are the E.E. Ward Relocation Coordinators skilled in the logistics of managing a smooth move, they are also now certified ambassadors for the City of Columbus. Relocation Coordinators Laura Daugherty and Sheila Straughen participated in the certification program hosted by Experience Columbus.
“We were excited to participate in the ambassador program, because we promote Columbus every day to customers relocating from out of town. It’s important to us to provide a comfortable and secure moving experience, and being able to recommend restaurants and the many exciting events taking place in town, eases the anxiety for a newcomer to an unknown city,” said Sheila Straughen, Relocation Coordinator.
“’Together Everyone Achieves More!’ We are part of a dedicated group that brings moretourism to our city, that brings people wanting to live here, that brings people who will need a moving company to get them here. Then the other participants representing their businesses – from hotels to the taxi company – all benefit from working together to promote Columbus. Hence ‘Together Everyone Achieves More!’,” added Laura.
Experience Columbus’ vision is to be the leading force in creating and revealing the best of the Columbus experience to the world. Experience Columbus’ mission is to sell, market and promote the Destination Columbus experience to visitors.
