Ozone Zipline Adventures is a department of YMCA Camp Kern that was launched in July 2009.  Created as a response to the decline in traditional outdoor education school groups attending camp, proceeds from Ozone will help Camp Kern’s school programs whose outdoor education experience has been jeopardized by budget constraints. Guests will suit up to fly on zip lines whizzing through and above the canopy of the Little Miami River valley. Two tour guides will escort each group of up to 8 participants from platform to platform. They offer 3 different tour options (plus night zipping!) that will have you traversing sky bridges, and zipping to and from a 45-foot tall multi-level central zip tower.

As an educational canopy tour, guests will also get an insight into everything from 500 million year old fossils to 2000 year old Native American earthworks, to current issues of water conservation and habitat loss, to local flora and fauna from our professional tour guides.

The Newport Aquarium showcases thousands of animals from around the world in a million gallons of water, including the enormously popular “Sweet Pea” and “Scooter,” the stars of the first shark ray breeding program in the world. This state-of-the-art facility was named the No. 1 aquarium in the 2012 Readers’ Choice Travel Awards from 10Best.com; the Best Rainy Day Outing in 2006 in Cincinnati Family Magazine; and the Best Aquarium in the Midwest in the Zagat Survey’s U.S. Family Travel Guide in 2004. The Newport Aquarium is an accredited member of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums which sets the standards for animal welfare, veterinary care, wildlife conservation, research, education, staffing and safety.

Kings Island is a 364-acre amusement park located 24 miles northeast of Cincinnati in Mason, Ohio. It is owned and operated by Cedar Fair Entertainment Company. In 2013, Kings Island was the second most visited seasonal amusement park in the United States behind Cedar Point with an estimated 3.2 million visitors.
