E.E. Ward Moving & Storage held an Appreciation and Awards Breakfast on Friday, December 20, 2013, as a way to recognize and thank employees for the exceptional work done in 2013. There were a number of awards presented at the event, one of which was the Above and Beyond Award.
The Above and Beyond Award was awarded to drivers or helpers that truly went above and beyond to provide superior services to our customers. Because there were so many potential recipients, management had a difficult time deciding who to present the award to. After much debate, the list had been narrowed down to six people for their consistent performances and dedication: Jeff Bealer, Robert Daniels, Jimmy Marable, Jerome Davis, Raleigh Head, and Deron Gasper.
Jeff Bealer was chosen because of his dedication to our customers and his willingness to pitch in. When the crew was faced with a last minute overflow, Jeff went out of his way to help out to get the overflow delivered on time.
Robert Daniels showed his dedication by loading a last minute shipment after hours. Even though it had already been a long day, he offered to stay late to help service the customer.
Jimmy Marable rarely refuses to help out. He was also the only NAVL driver to volunteer to participate in the North American Van Lines Shuttle Program last summer.
Jerome Davis is always willing to assist other employees or customers when he can. He is easy going and continually receives outstanding compliments from customers.
Raleigh Head has never had a complaint from a customer. He has been with E.E. Ward for 20 years and is committed to doing things the right way. There is nothing that can be said about Raleigh that is not a compliment.
Deron Gasper never says no to a task. He is available 7 days a week and enthusiastically takes on any job given to him.
Congratulations to these men and the other dedicated E.E. Ward employees who work every day to take care of customers as they would their own families.
