The results are in for the 1st Annual Franklin County Youth Lemonade Day and the organizers, sponsors and participants couldn’t be happier with the inaugural year’s program. E.E. Ward Moving & Storage is proud to have sponsored the program and looks forward to continuing to support young entrepreneurs in our community. There were 266 registrants (representing 10 ethnicities) with over 800 participants in 18 cities in Franklin County. The total revenue for the event was $2286 of which $697 was donated to charities and $389 went into savings accounts.

Youth Lemonade Day is a free, community-wide, entrepreneurial education program developed to teach youth, ages 5-18, how to start, own and run their own business. Youth work with their parents, teachers, business mentors, community and organization leaders, coaches and others through a 10-step guided curriculum that takes them from a “dream to reality.”
