E.E Ward is proud to sponsor The Youth Entrepreneurship Institute
E Ward is proud to sponsor The Youth Entrepreneurship Institute for the second year along with Commerce National Bank and Superior Enterprise Unlimited. The sponsorship aims to support YEI Winter Youth Entrepreneurship Program, a program that works with youth in low-to-moderate income communities to learn how to start, operate, run and sustain a small business, with the goal of “transforming young minds into major economic players” and establishing youth entrepreneurship as a viable opportunity for sustainable economic development.
As the President of E.E. Ward Moving & Storage and one of the advisers to the group, Brian Brooks said: “As a supporter, I look forward to every new class of students at the Youth Entrepreneurship Institute. The ideas and concepts developed by the students are refreshing, they approach their business plans with so much creativity. Sometimes I feel as though I am learning from them as they fuel my thinking without boundaries.” As one of the oldest minority-owned businesses in the U.S, Columbus mover E.E. Ward will also serve as a business mentor for the students.
