Tips for Making your Move a Success!
- Make sure you give yourself Plenty of Time: Getting your packing started early helps with time management and organizing in advance. Packing up clothes that are not in season and things that you don’t use on a daily basis to get a jump start.
- Time flies! Remember your Packing Supplies!: Having enough boxes, wrapping materials and packing tape will formulate your moving plan. Having friends and family members help with packing can be good for time structure. Extra tape and markers for labeling will make everything more organized.
- Be Hot on the Trail of Important to Tools and Parts: When you detach pieces from furniture or house hold equipment, a good tip is to place all components, such as screws or hinges, in a plastic bag with a label. Taping the bag of components to equipment or furniture will ensure that they will reside together.
- Pick a Room & Pack:Choose a room and stick with it! Trying to pack each room together will make unpacking much easier. Additionally, if you need something during the transition your new and improved organization skills will make things easier to find.
