Through truck, rail, air and port, the Columbus Region Logistics infrastructure helps with your freight where it needs to be and when it needs to be there. That is also a big reason why inbound logistics ranks Columbus as one of the hotspots for nation’s logistics. Unless it’s sold to the million people in the region, no freight ever stops here. Serving as the regional catalyst for the growth of the region’s logistics capability, the Columbus Region Logistics Council was formed in 2008. As one important partner with the Columbus Chamber, the Columbus Region Logistics Council works closely with the chamber to develop vigorously the local logistics careers by the implementation of a strategic roadmap.
So does E.E. Ward, a good friend and valued member with the Columbus Chamber. On this coming August 8th, the Columbus Region Logistics Council and the Columbus Chamber, in cooperation with Columbus State Community College, will work together to support the growth of this industry through the semi-annual logistics job fair.
