It is a busy time here at E. E. Ward Moving & Storage Co.! As professional movers in Columbus, we are just beginning our busiest moving season! While serving our customers, we are also sure to stay active in our community.
This Saturday at 8 pm, The Martin Luther King, Jr. Performing and Cultural Arts Complex will celebrate its 28th Anniversary Gala. This year’s event will celebrate the 50th anniversary of signing the Voting Rights Act in 1965. They will honor all African-American judges (past and present) who have served in Columbus, Ohio. Featured artists include neo-soul star Avery Sunshine and acclaimed R&B artist Eric Benet.
As one of the oldest minority-owned businesses in the nation, Minority Business Enterprise-certified E. E. Ward celebrates diversity and inclusion. We are proudly a Bronze Sponsor of the King Arts Complex. The owner of E. E. Ward, Brian Brooks, also serves as a board member of the complex. We are honored to be a part of such a great program.
The King Arts Complex highlights the contributions of African-Americans to the culture and history of America and the world through performing, cultural and educational programs that provide high artistic merit, varied and diverse experiences, and which increase and disseminate knowledge.
