As the official moving partners of Richard Petty Motorsports in the Nascar Xfinity series, Columbus movers E. E. Ward Moving & Storage Co. and North American Van Lines have been eagerly watching Dakoda Armstrong. Following a tough race in Talladega, Armstrong had his sights set on top-ten at Iowa Speedway.
Dakoda Armstrong missed the final round of qualifying at Iowa Speedway during Saturday’s session by a tenth of a second. Armstrong qualified 15th, his best starting position at the track, and was fast all afternoon. Armstrong has eight starts at Iowa Speedway, two of those in the NASCAR XFINITY Series. Drew Herring won the pole.
Qualifying Results:
15: Dakoda Armstrong, No. 43 WinField Ford
Comments from Dakoda Armstrong after Qualifying at Iowa:
“I’m really proud of this No. 43 Winfield Ford team. We were good off the truck. We made good adjustments throughout the day and found a nice balance. The car is handling well and has speed on the long runs. We were really close to making the top 12. The car is really good in race trim. We’ve had tough luck on short tracks this year. I think we will turn it around with a great finish tomorrow.”
Be sure to keep an eye out this week as we prepare for race day in Charlotte! Armstrong’s deck lid will bear the E. E. Ward logo this Saturday!
