E.E. Ward “Creates for a Cause”

E.E. Ward co-owner Brian Brooks and his wife, Dominique, recently participated in Create for a Cause, a charity event benefiting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Create for the Cause is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to creating a personal connection between the community and a cause through hands-on experience. They serve as a liaison between those who want to help and those who need the help by enabling people to donate time and talents through their creations rather than simply money. By matching a monetary donation with the personal experience of creating something of significance for that cause, they hope to build a bridge between those donating and the cause itself.  Those attending the event were asked help support that cause by participating in a silent auction or with a $20 per person donation to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

The event was hosted by local company, King Business Interiors. Darla King is the President and CEO of King Business Interiors and a long-time friend and business associate with E.E. Ward.  The company has provided commercial furnishings and flooring for the past 13 years.
