On Saturday The Youth Entrepreneurship Institute held its fifth annual graduation ceremony in the Marion Franklin opportunity Center Auditorium. Y.E.I program is a fun, entrepreneurial education experience program that teaches youth how to start, own and run their small-business.
The program seeks to attract middle and high-school students. The program has multiple formats of ten sessions. With the help of various partners and sponsors, the program will bring an entrepreneurial education experience to many urban youth, igniting entrepreneurship and engaging youth in a way thats never bee done to scale.
In addition to the graduates, special attendees were City Councilman Shannon Hardin, State Representative Hearcel Craig and from the Steve Harvey show, mushroom farmer, Te’Lario Watkins II were in attendance.
