Saint Patrick’s Day has come to be associated with everything Irish: anything green and gold, shamrocks and luck. Most importantly, to those who celebrate its intended meaning, St. Patrick’s Day is a traditional day for spiritual renewal and offering prayers for missionaries worldwide.
In American cities with a large Irish population, St. Patrick’s Day is a very big deal. Columbus will celebrate it with parades, “wearing of the green,” music and songs, Irish food and drink, and activities for kids such as crafts, coloring and games. Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day (and 100th anniversary of Technicolor) with a new digital restoration of this sparkling romantic adventure. The film provides a rare opportunity to see the legendary Irish tenor John McCormack. Wings of the Morning was the first British film to be shot in full Technicolor and remains one of the most spectacularly photographed early color films.

Location: Patrick’s Church
The Day will begin with a Mass at Holy Cross Church at 9:30 AM. The Parade will step off at 11:30 AM from St. Patrick’s Church. The parade will go south on Grant, west on Broad, and north on High and will end at the Convention Center.
