On May 19, The Childhood League Center held their 70th annual Merry Go Round Gala fundraiser. The Childhood League Center provides early childhood education, intervention, and therapeutic services to children under the age of six with developmental delays.
This year’s Merry Go Round Gala featured whimsical delights including stilt walkers, tarot card readings, and aerial performers. The event also featured a raffle and silent auction. Jerod Smalley, Sports Director at NBC4, was the emcee and Amelia Jeffers, Editor in Chief and Publisher of Sophisticated Living Columbus, was the auctioneer.
The Childhood League Center serves 445 children annually and provides early intervention during the crucial development stage in a child’s life. The League provides individualized services for each child and serves children both inside and outside the classroom by partnering with their families.
E.E. Ward Moving & Storage owners Brian and Dominique Brooks attended this year’s Merry Go Round Gala. E.E. Ward is a supporter of The Childhood League Center and provides moving and storage services for their semi-annual furniture drive by delivering furniture to recipient families.
The Childhood League is an amazing organization, and E.E. Ward is proud to support them. For more information on The Childhood League, visit their website at: http://www.childhoodleague.org/.
