E.E. Ward’s Operations Manager, Jeff Johnson, has had some exciting family news recently! One of his sons, Zayne, was selected to participate in the Junior All-American Games Fueled by Gatorade at the Baltimore Orioles Spring Training Complex. Gameday USA organized the event, which took place in Sarasota, Florida on November 25-27.Those selected to participate in the Junior All-American Games Fueled by Gatorade are the top baseball athletes from various ages in over 20 states.
Zayne is an impressive baseball player for his age, with hopes of playing professionally one day. He’s extremely versatile on the field, although playing catcher is his favorite. He was chosen to participate by a scout during a baseball event in Columbus.
Zayne was able to enjoy some Florida sunshine while he participated in opening ceremonies,a skills showcase, game competitions and tournaments, player evaluations, and home run derby. He even had the opportunity to play on the same field where Major Leaguers play. On top of all that, he got a big ring to celebrate his accomplishments. Congrats Zayne!
