E.E. Ward co-owners Brian and Dominique Brooks participated in the 2017 Columbus Marathon sponsored by Nationwide Children’s Hospital this past week. Brian and Dominique trained for about 18 weeks in preparation for the half marathon. All together, about 18,000 people came out to participate in the marathon. 
Training for marathons has taught me all about keeping my vision in front of me, new hope, new determination and digging my heels in like never before,” said Dominique. “You really learn what it means to Get up on the inside again and again.
“Training for a half marathon was a first for me and something I never imagined doing in this lifetime,” said Brian, “Thanks to my wife’s encouragement and support I can say ‘I did it!'”
Dominique is a marathon regular and has run in the New York and Columbus full marathons. This was Brian’s very first half marathon. Good job Brian and Dominique!
