E.E. Ward Supports the Buckeyethon Fashion Show

E.E. Ward is proud to have been affiliated with The Buckeyethon Fashion Show that occurred on November 3rd, 2015 in the Ohio Union at The Ohio State University. Buckeyethon raises funds and awareness for the Hematology/Oncology and Bone Marrow Transplant Department at Nationwide Children’s Hospital and is the largest student-run philanthropy in the state of Ohio. The fashion show raises funds for the upcoming 24-hour dance marathon while promoting various clothing brands and providing a fun event for Buckeyethon miracle kids and Ohio State students alike.

Dominique Reighard, America’s Next Top Model All-Star and wife of E.E. Ward President Brian Brooks, was the guest of honor at this event and provided some modeling tips and expertise to all the attendees. All participants looked to be having a blast, including Brutus Buckeye himself as he strutted down the runway. One common motto of Buckeyethon is that “Every Kid Deserves to be a Buckeye”. To fashion show participant and Ohio State senior, Jesslyn Patel, this means that “every kid deserves the most exceptional student life experience, just as [she] has been fortunate to have. Every kid deserves to grow up and be encouraged to attend their favorite college and discover endless opportunities.” Jesslyn and hundreds of other Ohio State students, including E.E. Ward’s own marketing interns Meghan and Sydney, are very excited to be dancing from 8 pm-8 am come February 5th of next year. While dancing for 12 hours straight is no easy feat, the dancers realize the movement is so much bigger than themselves and that being on your feet for one night can change a child’s life forever. E.E. Ward is proud to support Buckeyethon and their efforts to, again, surpass $1 million dollars raised for the kids of Nationwide Children’s Hospital!
