Brian Brooks, president of Columbus mover E.E. Ward Moving & Storage, is delighted to accept the invitation to serve as a board member of The King Arts Complex. The King Arts Complex provides enriching arts experience and developing connections between artists, patrons and the organization by preserving and presenting the contributions of Americans.
Located on the near East side of Columbus,
in one of the oldest areas of African-American communities, KAC offers performing, cultural and educational programs that provide high artistic merit, varied and diverse experiences, and which increase and disseminate knowledge regarding the vast and significant contributions of African-Americans to the culture and history of America and the world. In addition, by serving as a major anchor for development in the King-Lincoln District, The King Arts Complex is an oasis for cultural and educational activities as well.
As a board member, Brian Brooks acts as a fiduciary and plays a leading, proactive role in governing the organization. Focusing on the mission of KAC, Brian contributes his expertise, experience, knowledge and networking to KAC’s performance and future growth. As a certified Columbus mover, E.E. Ward is always willing to enrich the quality of life in Columbus through community service and leadership.
