Dedicated to eliminating racism as well as promoting justice, freedom, and dignity while also empowering women toward a world filled with peace, the YWCA Family Center is a shelter that provides food and refuge to those who find themselves in hard times. Located at 900 Harvey Court, this nonprofit organization is one that E.E. Ward Moving and Storage Inc. has partnered with for what is now two years.
Brii Brooks, daughter of Brian Brooks (President/CEO of E.E. Ward), has decided to take her first charitable initiative as she approaches her fifth birthday. Instead of asking for gifts at her birthday celebration, she’s asked for donations for the YWCA Family Center.
Brii is excited as this event approaches! She can’t wait to see what is in store for the women of this Columbus shelter.
“There is no exercise better for the heart than reaching down and lifting people up.”
