As godson of previous owner Eldon W. Ward, Brian was very familiar
with the legacy of the business when he and longtime friend and business
partner Otto Beatty III, purchased it in 2001. His observations and experience also told Brian that further education would help him develop even more effective and strategic growth plans. While taking on the challenges of heading the company, Brian used his evenings to apply his business experience to Franklin’s curriculum, earning his MBA in 2003.
