In an awards ceremony at the Ohio Statehouse on January 30th, E.E. Ward Moving & Storage was honored as a recipient for the 2019 Pillar Award for Community Service sponsored by Medical Mutual and Smart Business.
The Pillar Awards recognize organizations that set the standards for outstanding service to their communities. Rick Chiricosta, President and CEO of Medical Mutual of Ohio, states, “What all our honorees have in common, though, is the culture they have built where service is ingrained in their values and employees are empowered to support their communities.”
“Giving back has always mattered to E.E.Ward because the community has always been our foundation for over a century, said Dominique Brooks, Co-Owner of E.E. Ward. “We employ from our communities, we have customers in our communities, and we service our communities, said Brooks.”
Since 1881, E.E. Ward has focused on strengthening the legacy created by founders, John and William Ward. While embodying a strong moral character and giving back to the community, E.E. Ward looks forward to continuing serving as a leader in both the moving industry and the Central Ohio community for years to come.
